dry.net.au/ acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and reflect. Across Australia, these are the lands where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have cared for Country, culture, and community for tens of thousands of years.
We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples.
We recognise that cemeteries, memorials, and sacred sites are part of a much older continuum of remembrance — places where stories, spirits, and connections endure. Many of these sites hold deep cultural and spiritual significance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and we honour their ongoing custodianship.
We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and that the impacts of colonisation continue to be felt today. We commit to listening, learning, and walking together towards truth, respect, and reconciliation.
